The Cobra Tie Wraps are the next generation tie wraps,
where safety in application is the most important feature.

With its low profile and contoured ‘locking head’ the Cobra tie wrap is safer, smoother and stronger than traditional tie wraps. Safer because the (often barbed) stub is now deflected into a pocket at the rear of the head… more flexible because the flat lock section curves to the bundle contour…and stronger because the Cobra  uses an ‘in line’ mating design eliminating the stress points of traditional cable ties.

Cobra tie wraps offer true ‘second generation’ features, including:

• Parallel entry into an ultra low profile latching head

• Smooth flexing contoured head.
• Trimmed stub retracts into cavity.
• Pick proof underside lock.
• All rounded edges creating a totally ‘snag proof’ smooth exterior.
• UL/CSA listed.
• Meets requirements of MIL-S-23190.

When applied to a bundle the flexible head conforms to the contour of the bundle, never a cut off spike to injure an installer or technician and tensile strength always 90 lbs. or better.

Application tools: Cobra ties need no special tooling to apply them to their bundle. A pair of dikes, side cutters or any industry “Cinch and Trim’ tool will work,

COBRA low profile tie wrap installation using side cutters

Application of Cobra low profile tie wrap to the bundle….easy installation with dikes, side cutters or industry standard “cinch and trim application tools.

NOTE: Cobra Cable Ties work best when cinched down snug to "bundle"

Insert the strap parallel to the plane of the head and pull through until hand tight

Grasp the strap at the base and rotate the top blade forward until required tension is achieved.

Slide blade back to the base of the strap and actuate the cutter trimming the stub flush with the head.

Finished and snag free.

COBRA low profile tie wrap installation using Tie Gun

Insert the strap parallel to the plane of the head and pull through until hand tight

Insert the strap into the slot in the nose of the gun.

Keep actuating the trigger until proper tension is achieved and strap is cut

Note: All industry ‘cinch and trim’ guns have tension adjust settings.
